Zero 2 Infinity announces the presentation of Bloon during Pure Life Experiences, an event held between 16th-19th November 2009. PURE Life Experiences™ is a by-invitation only event operated like a private club. Entrance to this unique trade event for the high-end experiential travel market will be strictly for badge holders only. This event represents a new revolution in the landscape of travel exhibitions and it is the world’s only specialist trade to trade exhibition for the exploding experiential travel sector where only the finest, purest and most inspirational operators will be allowed to participate. Through a prescheduled meetings system they will meet with leading international private travel designers, hosted from all over the world.
As an Earth-friendly vehicle able to reach Near Space, Bloon allows passengers to visit that place where the sky is always dark, the curvature of the Earth is striking and stars shine day and night. Zero 2 Infinity’s founder and CEO, Jose Mariano Lopez-Urdiales, will give a premiere on Bloon in the Travel High Emotion Low Impact conference co-organized by PURE and National Geographic Traveler. Bloon has its beginnings in Valparaiso (Chile) in 2000 as the result of looking for ways to find a new Earth-friendly way of enjoying Space for people of any age or condition.
Quoting Zero 2 Infinity’s founder, “Bloon is a sustainable, cost-effective, inspirational and elevating device that affords out-of-this-world experiences to its passengers, including unparalleled views of their planet while helping preserve it in the process.” Up to date, the view of our round world has just been enjoyed by a small group of Space pioneers; however, the birth of Bloon shall dramatically change that conception. Zero 2 Infinity is committed to providing the most elevating experience in both a physical and human sense by means of using the most senior and well-known type of flying machine, the balloon. The Bloon experience: travelers flying in Bloon will experience a unique journey and observe the Earth like astronauts do. A two-hour long spectacular view of our blue planet’s curvature under the black sky will rank among the most unforgettable experiences in life. Moreover, a short period of weightlessness is offered if you dare to try. Broadly speaking, Bloon is made up of a pod with very wide windows and a sail that lifts it up to the sky. It moves smoothly and gently and its windows are very wide. The medical requirements or training to fly on it are similar to the ones to fly on a commercial aircraft.
