Stratospheric Spain
As a tribute to the victorious Spanish National Football Team in the World Cup 2010 in South Africa and, additionally, to all sorts of entrepreneurs that by their constant effort and team playing try (and often succeed) to make the world a better place, Zero 2 Infinity flew a Spain’s team football jersey to the stratosphere. The flight was performed over Igualada (Barcelona, Spain) on the occasion of the XIV European Balloon Festival on July 8th, 2010 at 10:15 am local time and it reached 33 km. Zero 2 Infinity, in collaboration with Ultramagic, flew a small, uninhabited helium balloon with scientific instruments and cameras on board taking both photographs and videos. This balloon was a part of their development program and was recovered successfully
Zero 2 Infinity is developing Bloon, a revolutionary Near Space vehicle that will offer breathtaking views of our precious planet that until now were only available to a privileged few.
